Rubber and Ceramic Pulley Lagging
Pulley lagging and re-lagging in the workshop or on site, for better grip, less belt slip and longer pulley life.
What lagging does
Lagging is the rubber or ceramic layer on a pulley's surface. It improves grip between pulley and belt, reduces slip and wear, and protects the pulley shell. When lagging wears smooth, the belt starts slipping and the drive loses efficiency.
Rubber lagging
A good choice for most drive and non-drive pulleys in dry and moderately wet conditions.
Ceramic lagging
Ceramic tiles give the strongest grip in wet, muddy or heavy-duty applications and last much longer than rubber.
Workshop or on site
Pulleys can be re-lagged in the workshop or directly on your site to reduce downtime.
